An undifferentiated layer, mesoglea, is present in between the ectoderm and the endoderm. These animals in which the developing embryo has a third germinal layer, mesoderm, in between the ectoderm and endoderm , are called triploblastic animals( from phylum platyhelminthes to phylum chordata).

So, 1-Ctenophora and 4-Cnidarians(which is also called coelenterons) belong to diploblastic animals.

Phylum Platyhelminthes has only single opening and these form have an incomplete alimentary canal.
