Q. 23. Shazli took a wire of length
44cm and bent it into the shape of a
circle. Find the radius of that circle.
Also find its area. If the same wire is
bent into the shape of a square, what
will be the length of each of its sides?

Answer:

circumference of square = 2*22/7*r

so radius will be = 44*7/2*22

→ 7 cm

area of circle = 22/7*7*7

154 sq.cm

Now side of square= 44/4

side = 11 cm

the area of square will be 11*11

That = 121 sq.cm

so area of circle is greater than area of square.
