Given : A ball is projected from a point A with  some velocity at an angle 30° with the  horizontal

To find :  Velocity at which ball thrown so that   ball will hit the  target

Solution:

From Figure

Horizontal Distance =  √3 / 2   m

Vertical Distance = 1/2    m

Let say Speed  =  V  m/s

Horizontal speed = V Cos30  =  V√3 / 2   m/s

Vertical Speed  =  VSin30  =  V/2  m/s

Let say  Ball covers required horizontal Distance in t  Sec

=> (V√3 / 2 ) t  =  √3 / 2

=> t = 1/V

Vertical Distance Covered

S  = ut + (1/2)at²

a = -g =  - 10 m/s²

S = 1/2

u =   V/2

t = 1/V

=> 1/2  =  (V/2)(1/V)  + (1/2)(-10)(1/V)²

=> 1/2 = 1/2   - 5/V²

=>  - 5/V² = 0

Hence no possible Values of  V

Hence none of these is Correct option
