SURFACE TENSION:

  • It is an inherent property of liquid surfaces (which are at rest) to spread over a minimum surface area as possible.

  • Surface area = F/L , so it's SI unit is Newton/Metre.

  • Dimensions is: ML^{0}T^{-2}

Work done = Surface Tension × Area

=> Work = 30 × (4πr²)

=> Work = 30 × 4π × 5²

=> Work = 300π

=> Work = 942.4 Erg

Hope It Helps.
