22400 ml of CO2 weighs 44g.

.: Mass of 448ml CO2= 448 ml x 44g / 22400ml=0.88g

Weight of CaO+CO2= Weight of CaCO3 => 1.12+0.88 = 2.00g

Hence from this we can understand that it follows Law of Conservation of Mass.
