1. Water resources are natural resources of water that are potentially useful. 97% of the water on the Earth is salt water and only three percent is fresh water; slightly over two thirds of this is frozen in glaciers and polar ice caps
2. Your drinking water comes from natural sources that are either groundwater or surface water. Groundwater comes from rain and snow that seeps into the ground. The water gets stored in open spaces and pores or in layers of sand and gravel known as aquifers. We use water wells or springs to harvest this groundwater.

3. Plants that don't get enough sunlight, tend to stop growing or grow slowly. Light is food for plants, so while you can water them and provide nutrients, they cannot grow without adequate sunlight.
