Q. 3 Derive output voltage of 9 V with output current 5 A. The minimum input voltage applicable is 12 V. The ambient temperature of the design is selected to be 30 DegC. The maximum allowable input voltage is 24 V. The optimizer is set such that it yields maximum efficiency.

As it is not clear in the question what need to determine here. what need to find  here is not clear at all, but still i am solving "ALL" the possible results what i understood so far.

Refer to the attachment

So we know,

v₁/n₁ = v₂/n₂

\frac{v_m_i_n}{v_2} = v₁ /v₂ = n₁/n₂

\frac{v_m_i_n}{v_2} = 12/9

= 4/3

and

\frac{v_m_a_x}{v_2} = n₁/n₂

\frac{v_m_a_x}{v_2} = 24/9

= 8/3

For output,

P₀ = VI

P₀ = 9 × 5

P₀ = 45 W.

Hope it helps .
