1.PROM = prom stand for programmable read only memory is the type of ROM is written only . It was meant to fulfill the requirements of a group of ROMs which may contain a selected memory content .It's memory is written just the once and programmed electrical by the user at the time or when the initial chip fibrication.

EPROM = eprom stands for erasable programmable read only memory is also the type of ROM is read and write optically .To write associated EPROM ,it's storage cells should stay within the same initial state .EPROM provides reduced storage permanency as compared to PROM as a result of the EPROM is receptive to tradition and electrical noise.

2.Impact printers = It pins strike against a ribbon and paper to print the text .It is called as electro -mechan8cal mechanism. Impact printers is two types such as= 1.character printers 2. line printers

Non-Inpact printers = They use non -Impact technology such as ink - jet or laser technology. They provide better quality of output at higher speed. These printers are of three types such as = 1.Ink jet printer 2. Laser printer 3. Plotter

4.Application software =application software makes computer perform useful tasks.It is also called as application or apps .Application software Is divided into two categories as follows: 1.packages 2.Utilities
