There are four parts of a leaf:-
Leaf blade : The flat part of the leaf which is visible to
the eye is called leaf blade.
Mid rib or mid vein: The dark, hard, tube like line
that runs through the middle of the leaf is the mid rib or
the mid vein.
1) Side veins : These are the fine lines running alongside
the mid vein.
iv) Stomata : Tiny pores or holes on the underside of the
lamina, which take in carbon dioxide from the air are
called stomata.​
