SOLUTION

TO VERIFY

 \sf{12 \times [8 + ( - 3)]  =[12 \times 8]  + [12 \times ( - 3)]  }

EVALUATION

Here we have to verify the below expression

 \sf{12 \times [8 + ( - 3)]  =[12 \times 8]  + [12 \times ( - 3)]  }

Now

LHS

 \sf{ = 12 \times [8 + ( - 3)]  }

 \sf{ = 12 \times [8  - 3]  }

 \sf{ = 12 \times 5  }

 \sf{ = 60 }

RHS

 \sf{  =[12 \times 8]  + [12 \times ( - 3)]  }

 \sf{  =96 - 36  }

 \sf{  =60  }

∴ LHS = RHS

Hence verified
