EVALUATION

Here we have to verify the below expression

$\sf{12 \times [8 + ( - 3)] =[12 \times 8] + [12 \times ( - 3)] }$

Now

LHS

$\sf{ = 12 \times [8 + ( - 3)] }$

$\sf{ = 12 \times [8 - 3] }$

$\sf{ = 12 \times 5 }$

$\sf{ = 60 }$

RHS

$\sf{ =[12 \times 8] + [12 \times ( - 3)] }$

$\sf{ =96 - 36 }$

$\sf{ =60 }$

∴ LHS = RHS
