Sandwich or burger: I like sandwiches.

I like sandwiches more than burgers.

Sweater or jacket: I find sweaters far more comfortable than jackets.

Blanket or quilt: I prefer blankets.

Blankets are better than quilts in keeping out the cold.

Sofa or chair:  I prefer a sofa to a chair.

Chairs are less favourable to me compared to sofas.

pulses or beans: I prefer beans.

I am more inclined to eating beans compared to pulses.

City life and Village life: I prefer city life.

I like city life more than I like village life.

Science and Arts: I prefer arts.

Arts is more preferable to sciences.
