rearrange them in coloum

31.0

- 4.5

26.5

as we can't subtract 5 from 0

take carry from its neighbour then 0 will be 10

and 1 will be 0

now subtract 5 from 10 we'll get 5

as again we can't subtract 4 from 0

do the same thing

then we'll get 6 and at last we have 2 write it there as it is as we don't have to subtract anything else from it...

so we get 26.5 as the final answer..
