we know the chemical reaction is

ch4+o2=co2+h2o

on balancing we get =

ch4+2o2=co2+2h2o

here o2 is limiting reagent

so moles of co2 will depend on o2

from 2 moles of o2 1 mole of co2 is formed

moles of o2=32/32=1

moles of co2 formed =0.5 moles

co2 formed =0.5×molar mass

=0.5×44=22.5 litre

correct option (A)
