Answer:

mode = 14

median = 154.583

Step-by-step explanation:

mode = all numbers writing in ascending order

12,12,12,13,13,14,14,14,14,16,19,19

mode is 14 ans

because 14 is 4 time

median = the sum of all numbers

13+16+12+14+19+12+14+19+12+14+13+14/12

172/12

154.583 ans

Given :

  • A data 13, 16, 12, 14, 19, 12, 14, 19, 12, 14, 13, 14 .

To Find :

  • Mode and Median of the given data .

Solution :

  • Mode of the data is 14 as it occurs for the maximum number of times .

Now ,

Firstly we will arrange the data in Ascending Order :

12 , 12 ,12 , 13 , 13 , 14 , 14 , 14 , 14 , 16 , 19 , 19 ..

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Median=\bigg(\dfrac{n}{2}\bigg)^{th}\:\:\:\bigg(\dfrac{n+1}{2}\bigg)^{th}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{\bigg(\dfrac{{\cancel{12}}}{{\cancel{2}}}\bigg)^{th}\:\:\:\bigg(\dfrac{{\cancel{12}}+1}{{\cancel{2}}}\bigg)^{th}}

\longmapsto\tt{6th\:and\:7th\:term}

So , 6th and 7th Term i.e 14 , 14 are the median of the data .

Mode :

The observation that occurs for the maximum number of times is called as Mode .

Median :

The central value that occurs in the centre when we arrange the data in ascending order is called as Median .
