Here we assume the efficiency of men and women to be the same.

It is given that 10 women can build a wall 40m long and 6m high in 24 days

So total area of wall built by 10 women in 24 days = 40*6

= 240 sq mt.

10 women worked for 24 days

So one woman can build 240/(24*10) = 1 sq mt. in one day

Therefore one man will also build 1 sq mt. wall in one day

We have to make 15*12 sq. mt. wall = 180 sq. mt. in 15 days.

So total no. of men required = 180/15

= 12 men

Thank you :)

Hope it helps..!!

12 women are required.

Given:

10 women can build a wall 40 m long and 9 m high in 36 days.

To Find:

We have to find how many women are required to build another wall, which is 15 m long and 20 m high, in 15 days.

Solution:

Here we assume the efficiency of men and women to be the same.

It is given that 10 women can build a wall 40m long and 6m high in 24 days

So the total area of wall built by 10 women in 24 days = 40*6

= 240 sq mt.

10 women worked for 24 days

So one woman can build 240/(24*10) = 1 sq mt. in one day

Therefore one man will also build 1 sq mt. wall in one day

We have to make 15*12 sq. mt. wall = 180 sq. mt. in 15 days.

So total no. of women required = 180/15

= 12 women

Hence, 12 women are required.
