Non-executive directors.

Non-executive directors are the ones who are expected to bring impartiality, objectivity, and independence in their decision-making.  Though non-executive directors are a part of the board of directors, they won't participate in the daily management activities of the company. The non-executive directors have the responsibility to monitor the executive directors and the  performance of the company. They work in the interest of the stakeholders of the company and ensure that the company meets its objectives.
