option (a)

The height of container in which water is poured is 3.75 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

height of the cylinder (H)= 15 cm

radius of the cylinder = r cm

if the water is poured into the another cylindrical cylinder then the volume of both the containers are equal

radius of the container in which water is poured (h)= 2r

then

volume of cylinder = volume of container in which water is poured

\pi r^2 H = \pi r^2 h \\\\\pi r^2 (15)= \pi (2r)^2 h\\\\15 = 4h \\\\h = \frac{15}{4}\\\\h = 3.75 cm

hence ,The height of container in which water is poured is 3.75 cm

option (a)
