Q.4. Answer the following questions on the basis of your understanding of
the following paragraph and the related studies concept.
Light is the form of energy that causes sensation of vision. When light falls on
the objects, it gets reflected in different directions. When this reflected light
reaches our eyes, we can see the things. The bouncing back of light in the
same medium after striking a surface is called reflection of light. This happen
when light is incident on translucent or an opaque medium.
We get light from a luminous objects, which we refer to as a source
of light. If the size of the source of light is very small , then we call it a point
source of light . When the source of light is considerable, then we say it as an
extended source of light. There are two types of reflection of light such as
regular reflection of light and irregular reflection of light. The impression of
an object formed in a mirror due to the reflection of light is called as the
image of an object.
