Explanation:

I could feel my skin tingling as a chill ran down my spine. I didn't want to think much of this situation because as the clock's ticking grew louder in my ears so did the fear inside me.

I thought of multiple possible ways this situation could be rational. Like, I forgot to put my phone on silent mode. Or that something went entirely wrong with the phone since its a technological device anyway. I mean things go out of order all the time.
