COVALENT BONDS

The bonds in which two atoms share their electrons to be stable by completing their octate or doublet in case of hydrogen are known as covalent bonds.

There are three ways in which covalent bonds are established between atoms.

These are

Single bond when a pair of electrons are shared.

Double bond when two pairs of electrons are shared.

Triple bond when three pairs of electrons are shared.

Hope it will help.
