The answers of the given questions are as follows -

  • I will use (peeled off) transparent plastic sheet, from the lamination of identity card of my previous class. (Laminated document should be strictly unnecessary, and important document's lamination shouldn't be used in this case.)
  • After getting a rectangular piece of transparent plastic from the lamination, I will clean the whole plastic sheet and I will apply a layer of white or silver paint on any one side of that transparent plastic piece. Finally, I will cut the cardboard to open the periscope from one side and then I will fix this painted plastic piece on the place of the broken mirror, by keeping the non-painted side in the same way of the position of the reflective side of the previous mirror. After that, I will close the periscope by using glue or tape, to make it like before. We have to make sure that no light is bleeding through the glued or taped portion.
  • These modifications will negatively impact the performance of the periscope.
