cos(90 - x) = sinx

here taking x as 30°.

now,

⭐️ SOLUTION ⭐️

cos (40+x) = sin 30

now, using formulae...

cos (40+x) = cos (90-30)

on comparing...

(40 + x ) = ( 90 - 30 )

40 + x = 60

x = 60 - 40

x = 20°
