Step-by-step explanation:

4x+3y=5

2y-x=7

multiplying 2nd equation by 4

then 4x+3y=5

4(2y-x =7)

then , 4x +3y=5

8y - 4x=28

now on adding both the equation ,the +4x and -4x cancels out

now the equation becomes

3y=5

+ 8y=28

__________

11y=33

thus y=33/11=3

now putting the value of y in equation 1

then ,4x +3y=5

4x+ (3×3)= 5

4x+ 9=5

4x=5-9

4x=-4

thus x=-4/4=-1
