To Find :- Choose the numbers from 1 to 8 and fill in the circles so that all three numbers in a line add upto 12 .

Solution :-

Total numbers :- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 .

Since 3 is already given in middle we have to take two more numbers in each three lines so that their sum is equal to 12 .

Taking 1 :-

→ First number = 1

→ Second number = 3

→ Third number = Let x .

So,

→ First number + Second number + Third number = 12

→ 1 + 3 + x = 12

→ 4 + x = 12

→ x = 12 - 4

→ x = 8

then, number in first line are 1, 3 and 8 .

Taking 2 :-

→ First number = 2

→ Second number = 3

→ Third number = Let x .

So,

→ First number + Second number + Third number = 12

→ 2 + 3 + x = 12

→ 5 + x = 12

→ x = 12 - 5

→ x = 7

then, number in second line are 2, 3 and 7 .

Taking 4 :-

→ First number = 4

→ Second number = 3

→ Third number = Let x .

So,

→ First number + Second number + Third number = 12

→ 4 + 3 + x = 12

→ 7 + x = 12

→ x = 12 - 7

→ x = 5

then, number in third line are 4, 3 and 5 .
