HLO MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER

. Phylogenetic system of classification is introduced by Ernst Haeckel.

. It is based on common Ancestry.

. Two basic terms in this classification are

1. phylogeny 2. clade.

. The ' evoluton history' of a group of genetically related organisms is called "phylogeny"( life tree ).

. A phylogeny is represented by a tree diagram and is called phlyogenetic tree.

. Clade is a 'group of organisms' that includes a common ancestor species and all its descendants.

. It includes all ancestors species and their descent species.

. Clade represents a single branch on the phylogeny (life tree )

. cladestic characters

. ANALOGOUS CHARACTERS ( BASED ON FUNCTION )

. EX: Wings of birds and butterflies .

. Wings of sparrows and patagia in flying squirrles.

. HOMOLOGOUS CHARACTERS ( INHERITED FROM COMMON ANCESTORS )

. EX: Forelimbs of birds , Forelimbs of whales.
