Step-by-step explanation:

let the two digit no be 10x+y. Here x is the tens digit and y is the unit digit .

GIVEN

the unit digit is twice the tenth digit

ie. y=2x----eqn 1

Then if they add 27 to the two digit number the digit gets interchanged

ie. 10x+y+27=10y+x

10x- x +y - 10y+27= 0

9x - 9y +27=0

9(x-y+3)=0

x-y+3=0

x+3=y

Now substitute eqn 1 ie. y=2x

x+3=y eqn --2

x+3=2x

2x-x=3

x=3

now substitute x=3 in x+3=y

x+3=y

3+3=y

y=6

now the digit is 10x+y

substitute x and y here

10×3+6=36
