Answer:

3a - 2b = 12

4a - 5b = 16

multiplying 4 in (i)equation and 3 in (ii) equation

12 a - 8 b = 48

12 a - 15 b = 48

(-) (+) (-)

__________________

7 b = 0

b = 0

putting value of b in (i) equation

3 a - 2 b = 12

3 a - 0 = 12

a = 4

a = 4 & b = 0
