Q.5. The sum of the squares of two consecutive positive odd numbers is 514.
Find the numbers.
Q.6. The sum of the squares of two consecutive positive even numbers is
452. Find the numbers.


why in both questions we are taking consecutive no. 'x' and 'x+2' ?

guys help me if you can.​

we are taking because if x is odd then it will give odd but if even then even
