What is meant by assassination? Give examples who face this ?

Hey there!

Assassination generally refers to death, but it's quite different from natural death. When we mean a person is assassinated , it means he was killed by someone else for something.

And We don't use the assassination for all people, it's used only when a famous person is killed for religious or political reasons. Here, The reason might not look a good one for killing for some group of people, while it will look a reasonable thing for others . A person may be assassinated in order to be paid

A best and familiar example to this :

Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Nathuram Godse speaking the last words " He Ram "

Here Gandhi is a prominent person , He was a great freedom fighter . Godse killed him for some injustice he felt being done to his community.

He was Assassinated by the combined efforts of Many of his Senators who basically believed that his rising fame and supremacy could one day turn him into a Dictator . So the basic reason was political Jealousy and Just as an excuse , a step to restore democracy .




♠John . F. Kennedy

=> John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th President of The United States . He was Assassinated on 22 November , 1963 in Dallas , Texas . According to reports , he was Shot twice . A person named Lee Harney Oswald was held guilty and held under custody but this case never went off a trial .



♠Indira Gandhi

=> A well known Political Figure , the Daughter of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru , and also the 3rd Prime Minister of India . She was Shot at 9:20am on 31st October in the year 1984 . The persons to shoot her were none other than her own Bodyguards "Satnam Singh " and "Beant Singh ".
The main reason for the act was the Operation BLUE STAR , that had severe effects on Sikhs.
