The correct answer from the options given above is option 3 - Plea for Vegetarianism.
“Plea for Vegetarianism” is a book written by Henry Salt.
There were many vegetarians living in London. When Gandhi was in England, he would visit the restaurants there.
Gandhi read a copy of Salt’s “Plea for Vegetarianism” there. Although Gandhi was vegetarian by custom and tradition, after reading the book, he became a vegetarian by choice. He also started attending the meetings of the London Vegetarian Society after reading the book.

When Gandhiji was in London he saw a copy of Henry Salt's Plea for Vegetarianism in the window of a restaurant in Farringdon Street. It was a thin book and he read it from cover to cover. He was already a vegetarian by custom and tradition but after reading the book he became a vegetarian by choice. He came to know about the London Vegetarian Society and started attending its meetings. He was very impressed by this creed that he formed a branch of the Society in his own locality also.
