Answer:

Area of triangle= 1/2*B*H

1200=1/2*40*H

1200=20*H

Height= 1200/20

Given :

  • Area = 1200 m²
  • Base = 40 m

 \\ \\

To Find :

  • Height = ?

 \\ \qquad{\rule{200pt}{2pt}}

SolutioN :

Formula Used :

  • Area = 1/2 × Base × Height

 \\ \\

Calculating the Height :

 ➬ \qquad \; Area = 1/2 × Base × Height

 \\ ➬ \qquad \; 1200 = 1/2 × 40 × Height

 \\ ➬ \qquad \; Area = 1/2 × Base × Height

 \\ ➬ \qquad \; 1200 = 40/2 × Height

 \\ ➬ \qquad \; 1200 \times 2 = 40 × Height

 \\ ➬ \qquad \; 2400 = 40 × Height

 \\ ➬ \qquad \; 2400/40 = Height

  • Cancelling the 2400 by 40 :

 \\ ➬ \qquad \; {\purple{\pmb{\underline{\underline{\frak{ Height = 60 \; m }}}}}}

 \\ \\

Therefore :

Height of the Triangle is 60 m .
