  2. It contains 8 planets namely Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Urenus, Neptune.
  3. Among these Mercury is the smallest and the Jupiter is the largest planet.
  4. Venus is called as "Lightning Star". Because it shines at time of sunrise and sunset.
  5. The Mars is called as "Red Planet". Because its surface is red due to presence of iron in the soil.
  6. The belt in between the Mars and the Jupiter is called "Asteroid Belt".
  7. Earth is the only planet which has life.
  8. Planets after Neptune are called "Dwarf Planets". Pluto is one of them.
