The value of angle BAD is 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

here , BC = 10 m

and given that CD = 2(BC)

therefore , CD = 2(10) = 20 m

then BD = BC+CD = 10+20 = 30 m

AB = 10√3 m

in triangle ABD

tan A = \frac{BD}{AB}

tan A = \frac{30}{10\sqrt{3} }

tan  A= \frac{3}{\sqrt{3}}

on rationalising we get

\tan A = \frac{3}{\sqrt{3} }\times \frac{\sqrt{3}}{\sqrt{3}}  = \frac{3\sqrt{3}}{3}= \sqrt{3}

thus

\tan A = \sqrt{3}\\\\\tan A = \tan 60^\circ\\\\A= 60^\circ

Hence , The value of angle BAD is 60°
