Solving (i) and (Ii) ,
2u+3v=13

putting value of u in (ii) ,
5u−4v=−2
5(13−3v/2)−4v=−2
⇒−15v−8v=4−65
⇒v=−69/-23=3
∴v=3
putting value of v in (i) equation ,
2⋅u+3⋅3=13u=2∴u=2
& v=3
1/x=u=2 & 1/y=v=3
x=1/2,y=1/3
