therefore it can be said that they are in proportion.

OR

• For continued proportion of three number

that is 5 , 25 and 125

LHS

= 5/25

= 1/5

Now RHS

= 25/125

= 1/5

•°• So, 5/25 = 25/125 = 1/5

b. Cost of 30m cloth = Rs 2400

Cost of 1m cloth = 30m

Cost of 50m cloth = 2400. ×5

30

= 800 × 5

= 4000 (Ans:-)

•°• The cost of 50m cloth is 4000.
