A motorcycle is moving with a velocity of 108 km/hr and it takes 5 s to stop it after the
breakes are applied. Calculate the force exerted by the brakes on the motorcycle if it's mass
along with the rider is 250 kg.​

its given

initial velocity(u)= 108km/hr=30m/s

final velocity (v)=0

time=5

we know that

v=u+at

a =  \frac{v - u}{t}  =  \frac{0 - 30}{5}  =  - 6

acceleration is -6

so for force we know that

F=ma

mass= 250

so,

F=250×-6

F=-1500 N....
