TYPES OF SIMPLE MACHINES
Explanation:
A simple machine is a device that helps us to do work with less efforts in less time. A SIMPLE MACHINE has very few or no moving parts. There are 6 types of simple machine:
Lever: A lever is a very handy simple machine which is generally used to lift objects.
Pulley: A pulley is a wheel without axle that carries rope, chain or belt on its rim.
Wheel & axle: It is used to move or lift objects from one place to another.
Inclines Plane: It is used to pull or push an object on sloping surface.
Wedge: It is used to break objects into small ones.
Screw: It helps to lift things and hold things together.
