a. Paheli was suffering from indigestion because of acidity, which means acid level had increased in her body which caused indigestion.

b. The doctor recommended an antacid because antacid has a basic nature so, it reacts with the acid and neutralizes it which helps in reducing pain.

c. The phenomenon that occur here is the neutralization reaction between an acid and a base. The base here was an antacid which is magnesium or aluminum hydroxide. In this phenomenon the acid was neutralized and the pain due to indigestion was reduced.
