In the book , the pictures of fairies are present . One of the fairy would come alive if a good and truthful child could only spot the right picture . Then rita saw a injured parrot and she helped the parrot and took it to a veterinary surgeon so the parrot cured . After that Rita spotted a magic fairy and the magic fairy became a very good friend of Rita by seeing her kindness .
