Answer :-

Given :-

  • 20 notebooks cost Rs. 160

To Find :-

  • Then how much do 3/4 part of the notebooks from them cost.

Solution :-

Let's first find how much 1 notebook cost :-

→ 20 notebooks cost Rs. 160

→ Cost of one notebook = 160 / 20

→ Cost of one notebook = 8

Now, we are asked how much do 3/4 part of the notebooks from them cost.

→ Number of notebooks = 3/4 × 20

= 3 × 5

= 15

So, we have to find cost of 15 notebooks.

→ Cost of 15 notebooks = 15 × 8

= 120

Cost of 3/4 part of the notebooks i.e. 15 notebooks = Rs. 120
