ring as shown in the figure. There is an
angle of 90° between the balance A and
balance B. There is a reading of 5N on balance A and 12 N on the balance B. Please find reading on Balance C and the angle theta.​

We resolve spring "C" into its " x and y " components

taking the force in spring C as T

now equating all x components

Tsin∅=12 --------1

Tcos∅=5 --------2

now dividing 1 by 2

tan∅= 12/5

∅= tan-¹(12/5)

∅=66.38°

Now to find the force!!

T= ✓(12²+5²) = 13N
