  • soil erosion is the sweeping away of top fertile soil by the agents of soil erosion. erosion usually happens when soil particles gets lose then they are easily carried away by the agents of soil erosion

types of erosion include ;

  1. sheet erosion -this type of erosion s the simplest type of soil erosion, in this case, rain drops hit the soil directly creating holes. this is where all types of erosion starts
  2. rill erosion - here run off forms small rills that soon enlarges to form galleys
  3. galley erosion - this is the most advanced type of erosion where large canals known as galleys
