Angiosperm : 1) Angiosperms are those whose seeds are formed within fruits. ( angios: cover, sperms: seeds ) 2) This seeds are usually enclosed in fruit . 3) These are seasonal. 4) e.g - corn, wheat, rice etc

Gymnosperm : 1) Seeds of these plants do not have natural coverings , i.e. these plants do not form fruits and are therefore called gymnosperms. ( gymnos : naked , sperms : seeds)

2) Not enclosed , found on scales or leaves. 3) These are evergreen. 4) e.g - Cycas, Picea, Pinus( Deodar) etc.
