Q.8) The mass of a density bottle is 35 gram when empty, 65 gram when filled with water and 59 gram when filled with alcohol. Find the relative density of alcohol. (Ans: R.D. - 0.8)

Density of water = m w /V = 1 g/cc => V = 30 cc. So, the volume of the bottle is = 30 cc. When filled with alcohol the bottle weighs 59 g. So, mass of alcohol in the bottle, m a = 59 – 35 = 24
