Singular/Plural Verbs-

• A verb has proper tense and also nature depending on the nature of the noun/pronoun.
• As we have singular and plural nouns for a sentence we also have singular/plural verbs for sentences.
• Just for example, 'was' is a singular verb which means it will be used before a singular noun, and similarly were is a plural verb as it is used before/after plural nouns.
• For the sentences given here, all the verbs are used wrongly depending on the nature of the noun.
• In example 1 the money is counted as singular so 'has' instead of 'have' will be used.
• Again in example 2 the pronoun 'everyone' is counted and treated as one singular noun. Thus, 'was' will be added.
• In the third example, the noun or the subject is the 'team manager', which is a singular noun, so the verb will be addressed to that, and hence 'is' for a singular noun is corrected.
