Answer:
License to drive is not license to kill
Traffic rules prohibit overspeeding, driving on the wrong lane, parking in no parking zones, bikers without helmet, car drivers without seat belts and driving under influence of intoxicants.
Sadly many drivers are seen overspeeding, ignoring traffic lights and driving under the influence of alcohol. Several hit and run cases occur everyday. Reckless drivers hit other vehicles and people then fled from the scene with the victims bleeding, screaming in pain, calling for help or even dying.
Reckless and rash drivers are a menace and highly dangerous to public safety. Life is precious and drivers must understand that once a life is lost it cannot be brought back. The consequences of a serious or fatal road accident effects the family members and friends of the victims too.
Getting a licence to drive does not entitle a person to drive as he pleases and endangers the life of other people. Roads are built for everyone. A driver must not forget that he may own a vehicle but not the road. A reckless and irresponsible driver endangers his own life, the life of other drivers as well as passengers and pedestrians.
Our roads will be much safer for everyone if people drive with care and follow traffic rules.
