Here A=amount, P=principal, R=rate of interest

(a) A= P(1+R/100)N

= 48000( 1+ 10÷100)1

=48000×110÷100

Amount = ₹52800

Compound Interest = Amount- Principal

= ₹ 52800 - ₹ 48000

= ₹ 4800

(b) A= P (1+R/100)N

= 48000(1+ 10÷100)2

= 48000×110÷100×110÷100

=₹ 58080
