Q.9:  An object placed 4 m from a plane mirror it is shifted by 0.5 m away from the mirror. What is the distance between the object and its image?

Answer: 4.5 m

Explanation: The object and mirror are already placed 4.0m apart. In addition to that the object displaced away by 0.5m. Hence 4+0.5= 4.5 m
