1). Meaning:Beauty doesn't exist on its own it is created by the observer.

Example:I don't see why he finds her attractive, I think she is downright ugly; but, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say.

2). Meaning:To have hope that a positive occurrence will happen, while simultaneously readying for a negative outcome.

Example:In case of law suits it is better to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

3). Meaning:Knowledge is power means that a person has education and a complete control on his life by using that knowledge.

Example:A king needs not to be physically powerful, but wise and knowledgeable he must be because only knowledge is power.

4). Meaning:Things that appear to be free will always have some hidden or implicit cost to someone, even if it is not the individual receiving the benefit.

Example:The directors pay me only for the work that I do. Trust me, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

5). Meaning:it means that you should not delay doing something if you can do it immediately.

Example:My Grandad Murt always used to say: "Never put off until tomorrow what you could do today."
