Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • Principal (P) = 6050

  • Rate (R) = 6.5%

  • Time (T) = 3 years

ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-

  • Amount(A)

  • Simple Interest (SI)

sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

We know that,

 Simple \: Interest \:  =  \frac{Principal(P) \times Rate(R) \times Time(T)}{100}

On putting the above given values in it, we get,

 \implies \:  Simple \: Interest =  \frac{6050 \times 6.5 \times 3}{100}  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{605 \times  \times 65 \times 3}{100}  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{117975}{100}  \\  \\  \implies \: 1179.75

Now,

Simple Interest (SI) = 1179.75

We know that,

Amount (A) = Intetest (I) + Principal (P)

A = 1179.75 + 6050

A = 7229.75

Hence,

  • Amount (A) = 7229.75

  • Simple Interest (SI) = 1179.75
